Gardevoir are a species of Psychic Pokemon typically trained by experienced trainers. They are a highly restricted Pokemon owing to their dwindling numbers and being common targets for abuse. Gardevoir are known to only live 15-20 years, though can extend their lifespan with a Mating Bond. As few Pokemon live longer than 20 years, a Gardevoir over the age of 20 is often considered a red-flag for abuse and typically warrants investigation of the trainer.
