Oliver Reed was a British film actor born in Wimbledon, London, England on February 13th, 1937. His first work in the horror genre was an uncredited bit role as a bouncer in the 1960 Terence Fisher film The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll for Hammer Film Productions. Reed worked for Hammer again the following year, in a much larger role in Fisher's The Curse of the Werewolf where he played one of the main characters, Leon Corledo.
